Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM), a public company under the Consellería de Mobilitat del Govern de les Illes Balears, has awarded Vossloh Rail Vehicles a contract to develop and build six train-trams for the Manacor–Artá line. Prominent features of the train-tram are its ability to operate on existing infrastructure (both conventional suburban and tramway trackage), as well as its comfort and excellent accessibility for passengers.
